The Yum Car is a restaurant delivery service offering home delivery from all Bathurst’s great local Takeaway Restaurants. Established in 2009 the Yum Car is a family owned and operated business offering residents and visitors to Bathurst a wide variety of home delivery options. Whatever flavour you desire the Yum Car can offer an alternative to satisfy your current cravings or ease your munchies, irrespective of the cause.
How does the Yum Car work?
Firstly decide what you would like by browsing our Restaurant Partners menu’s contained in this site. Once you have decided what you would like ring the Yum Car directly on 6332 5259 and place your order. Your order will generally be delivered to your door within the hour.
Where does the Yum Car deliver from?
The Yum Car delivers from all the restaurants that are listed on the Restaurant Partners page on this site. How much does it cost?
A delivery from one of our Restaurant Partners is $9 plus the food prices on our menus.
A delivery from a Restaurant who is not a Restaurant Partner incurs a $12 delivery fee plus 10% commission and is subject to restaurant availability.
A second Restaurant on a single order incurs a delivery fee of $3.
Maximum 2 outlets per order
How do you pay?
Presently the Yum Car only accepts cash. If you are staying in one of Bathurst’s many great Motels many of these offer a chargeback facility to your room account for purchases through the Yum Car. Please check with the staff at your Motel to see if they offer this facility.
How long does it take?
The number one concern of the Yum Car is the quality of the food when it arrives at your door. This is followed in a close second by efficiency. We work on a standard delivery time of 6o minutes. Most of our deliveries are made well within the standard delivery time, however we will advise you, when you call, if demand is high and there is an expected delay.
When is the Yum Car open?
The Yum Car is open 7 nights per week. Monday to Saturday 5pm to 9pm and Sunday 5pm to 8pm.
